Even simpler, go snorkeling - a favorite alternative to scuba diving and so easy to do right outside your doorstep at The Alexandra. You have only to lie upon the water, with the sun on your back, to marvel at the seabed ecosystem and reach out and touch exotic treasures from the shallows.
You can also explore the reefs from a boat with your eyes alone. The water is so clear that you can see downward as far as 200 feet from the surface to reefs that rise to within 20 feet of the surface.
